This is a suggested program but the guest may change any activity for any of the excursion menu. In order to secure their places, guests are kindly requested to mention the excursions they intend to do when making their bookings.
Day 1
• Welcome at El Calafate Airport and transfer to El Chaltén (3 hours drive – 200 kilometres).
• Arrival to Los Cerros Hotel – Welcome drink.
• Small talk on El Chaltén and information on excursions.
• Excursions: Short Half Day Walks
Options:
A) Chorrillo del Salto: A hike along the Las Vueltas River that traverses a beautiful wood of ñires to reach the Chorrillo del Salto, a 20 meter-high waterfall.
B) Mirador de los Cóndores: A hike through town to the National Park’s Interpretation Center. A short walk from there will take visitors to Los Cóndores Panoramic Point, which offers a striking view of the town, the Las Vueltas river valley, as well as Mounts Torre and Fitz Roy, two famous peaks that contrast vividly with the Patagonian steppe to the east.
C) Mirador Cerro Torre: A hike along the valley of the Fitz Roy river to Mount Torre’s Panoramic Point that traverses primeval woods of lengas and ñires. Visitors will get as close as possible to imposing Mount Torre, a famously daunting challenge to climbers from all around the world.
D) Laguna Capri: A hike through a thick forest interrupted by incredible views of the Las Vueltas River and the main buildings of old Estancia Madsen, the first settlement in the area. Visitors reach later Laguna Capri, a small lake that reflects Mount Fitz Roy. A place where one can feel a strong connection with nature.

Day 2
• Buffet breakfast.
• Excursion to `Lago del Desierto & Río de las Vueltas”: A motor-vehicle takes visitors from El Chaltén to Lago del Desierto, a 40 km ride with stops at interesting sites and panoramic views. This outing presents two options:
Sailing from the Southern Point to the Northern Point of Lago del Desierto with the possibility of walking to the Centinela Panoramic Point or enjoying the encompassing views of Lago del Desierto and Mount Fitz Roy. Two hours later, we sail back to the Southern Point. This boat outing is subject to weather conditions.
A two-hour hike through a dense wood of lengas and ñires, stopping at several points that allow views of Lago del Desierto, the Huemul Lake and Glacier and the Fitz Roy Massif.
On the way back, we stop at Fitz Roy Adventure Camp, where visitors enjoy a country-style lunch and spend a free afternoon on the shores of Laguna Cóndor.

Day 3
• Buffet breakfast.
• Excursión:
A) Hiking to Laguna Torre: A hike along the valley of the Fitz Roy river through old forests of lengas and ñires. Excellent panoramic views of mythical Mount Torre and the Fitz Roy Massif. After a short break at Mount Torre’s Panoramic Point, the walk continues to the Base Camp before finally reaching small Lake Torre, which affords beautiful views of the Main Glacier and Mount Torre.
B) Viedma Ice Trek – Viedma Trek: A motor-vehicle takes visitors to the harbor on Bahía Tune, 8 km from El Chaltén, where they board and sail through Lake Viedma’s icebergs until they reach the glacier’s wall. Two options are then available:
- Trekking on Ice: a walk using crampon footwear over the Viedma Glacier to discover its crevices, drains and other point of interest.
- Trekking on Rock: a walk over the rocky promontory, that just a few years ago was still covered by the glacier. Unique views of the glacier’s front wall and the caves in the moraine
• Return to Los Cerros.
• Tea time (depending on the return time).

Day 4
• Buffet breakfast.
• Check-out and transfer to El Calafate.
